According to The Qur'an, however, all human beings are possessors of colour/hue (Arabic lawn), that is, are hue-man beings (30:22); in this sense, all human beings are "coloured people" and/or "people of colour".
Therefore, if one is to insist that "White" people are not "people of colour" and/or "coloured people", then either:
1) As pioneering counter-racist scientist, Neely Fuller Jr. states, following this logic, it must be the case that "White" people are "colour-less", a view that is categorically negated by The Qur'an if "White" people are human beings
or
2) "White" people are not human beings.
So, from an Islamic perspective, "White" people are faced with a choice:
1) Either they - and "people of colour" (that is, non-White people) - accept that "White" people are themselves "people of colour", thereby undermining the priveleged benchmark/background status of "Whiteness", and enter the hue-man family;
or
2) "White" people retain their non-"coloured" status and stand apart from human [=hue-man] beings as non-human.
