Peace Be Unto Those Who Follow Right Guidance.
In my previous post, Of Terminators and Transhumanists, I argued that while the Terminator films are interesting (and, yes, I did enjoy Terminator Salvation even though the story was weak in comparison with the first two films), counter-Racists might want to focus (most of) their attention on Transhumanism/Posthumanism/ Extropianism as REFINEMENTS of Racism (White Supremacy).
In this connection, I should like to point interested readers, in particular, those who have read Charles W. Mills' The Racial Contract (1998), to the following article:
"The Technology of Mind and a New Social Contract" by Bill hubbard (Journal of Evolution and Technology 17(1), January 2008, pp.13-22).
Here is the abstract:
The progress of biology, neuroscience and computer science makes it clear that some time during the twenty-first century we will master the technologies of mind and life. We will build machines more intelligent than ourselves, and modify our own brains and bodies to increase our intelligence, live indefinitely and make other changes. We live together according to a social contract, consisting of laws, morals and conventions governing our interactions. This social contract is based on assumptions we rarely question: that all humans have roughly the same intelligence, that we have limited life spans and that we share a set of motives as part of our human nature. The technologies of mind and life will invalidate these assumptions and inevitably change our social contract in fundamental ways. We need to prepare for these new technologies so that they change the world in ways we want rather than just stumbling into a world that we don't.
When reading this article:
1. Replace occurrences of "we"/"us"/"our" by White Supremacists (Racists).
2. Consider the implications of changes [=REFINEMENTs] to the Social Contract given changes [=REFINEMENTs] in human nature given that the Social Contract masks/hides/obscures the Racial Contract (between persons/humans and subpersons/subhumans).
